Our racing season provides limited income, to help keep running we started an online store, “ENDURO GEAR”
While our store is slowly growing, it’s doesn’t yet provide us with enough income to allow us to continue all year round.

What do we do when we are not racing?
Soon after the race season finishes we begin setting up for the following years season, this includes the following:

• Locating new properties

• Liaising with land owners

• Inspecting new properties to check if they are suitable for our events

• Liaising with councils, town planners, bushfire consultants, drawing and submitting plans, plus a bucket load more.

• If we manage to secure development consent from council, we can then begin cutting and marking the tracks.

All the above can take up to six months.

Aside from the above which directly relates to our events, we are currently working to amend the NSW legislation to ease the current processes required to gain council permission to run events on private property, we have secured the support of several ministers within the NSW Parliament, the support of a major national association, we are also a member of the Outdoor NSW & ACT where can work collaboratively on policy development and advocacy.

If the changes we are pushing are adopted, the benefits of the changes should be enormous, not only for our sport, it’ll also improve many other sports, recreational activities and community events.

We would expect to see the following:

• Increased opportunities for events

• Increased opportunities for volunteers

• Increased income for regional & rural areas

• Increased community engagement & networking

• Improved mental health (because of the above)

• Decreased costs for clubs, promoters and community groups

• Increased protection for clubs, promoters, community groups and landowners

• Security and confidence for clubs, promoters, community groups and landowners

• More investment back into our sport

• An improved operating environment

• Increased personal responsibility
