The Australian Hard Enduro Championship paused for 2025

The Australian Hard Enduro Championship will be paused for the 2025 race season, this pause is necessary to allow us to undertake activities to improve our position strategically & financially, improving our position will increase our ability to organise, promote, conduct, and grow racing events for 2026 and beyond.

During the pause, we will also focus on improving the regulatory environment under which our sport operates.
The anticipated outcome, if successful, will result in:

  • The easing of the processes to obtain council consent for temporary events.

  • Reduced cost for clubs & promoters.

  • Increased protection for clubs, promoters’ volunteers and landowners.

  • Increased availability of insurance.

  • Improved economic outcomes for rural and regional communities.

  • Increased number of events, volunteer opportunities, physical & mental health.

We understand this pause may cause some frustration for our competitors & supporters, however, it is absolutely required in order for the national championship to continue beyond the end of the 2025 season.

Outside of the AHEC, during 2025 we intend to run two events, pending consent & permits, this will be announced in due course.

We thank you for your support throughout 2024 and look forward to growing the discipline of Hard Enduro & the sport of off-road motorcycling over the coming years.
We trust you understand our decision and continue to support our efforts and our events in 2026
